Cheap Fast Food
The words cheap fast food are almost redundant, since by definition all fast food tends to be cheap food, in comparison with more elaborate meals. Typically, the most well known types of fast food are hamburgers, pizza, and fried chicken. A hamburger is a sandwich made with a ground meet cooked patty, placed inside a sliced roll of bread. They are frequently accompanied by lettuce, bacon, tomato, onion, pickles, cheese and condiments like mustard, mayonnaise, ketchup and relish. In fast food restaurants, burgers are usually complemented with french fries and a non-alcoholic beverage. This pattern has seen many changes over the years, and several types of burgers are in existence today.Pizza is a flattened bread in the shape of a disc that is baked in an oven and topped with tomato sauce and cheese, as well as different types of meat (salami, pepperoni) and vegetables. This cheap fast food originated in Italy, particularly in Naples, even though there are also many different styles of pizza in Lazio, such as romana, viennese, capricciosa, quattro stagioni, quattro formagi, Sicilian style and pizza bianca. Currently, pizza is known worldwide, and is the most popularly recognizable Italian dish.
Fried chicken consists of several pieces of battered chicken that has been deep, pan, or pressured fried. This meal has developed into different variations, for instance buffalo wings, chicken fries, fingers, nuggets, and crispy. In addition to burgers, pizza and chicken, there are also hot dogs, tacos, burritos, fish and chips, calamari, etc, as well as many regional variants that are common to a certain geographical location. What remains a fact, is the aforementioned notion that cheap fast food is a given, regardless of the country of origin, as can be easily ascertained from the quantity of fast food restaurant found in most major cities, and the size of their clientele.
